Orbytes additive manufacturing business.
I founded and still run a production-oriented 3D printing company, building the workflow, printer farm, post-processing process, client communication and production routines around industrial parts.

3D printing materials, part size and lead times.
Built around real production constraints: material choice, repeatability, finish quality, turnaround time and client communication.
Material selection
I print from a broad selection of materials: PLA, PETG and ABS, as well as engineering materials including ASA, PA12, PAHT-CF, PC, PC-GF, TPU, ABS-ESD and PC-ABS.
Part types
Work ranges from precision and aesthetic parts to large functional components up to approximately 0.5 m in each axis, depending on geometry, material and required tolerances.
Lead times
For urgent jobs, delivery times can be as short as a few days. The workflow covers quoting, material choice, print preparation, production, quality check and shipping.

Selected clients I fulfilled 3D-printing orders for through Orbytes.

From prints to delivered parts.
I built the company workflow around production, post-processing, sorting, packaging, printer maintenance and communication with clients. The work was not only about printing, but also about delivering usable parts on short deadlines.
Clients included manufacturing, automotive, medical, production-line and academic use cases across Europe and the United States.

Engineering and operations.
Running a manufacturing business taught me to think about engineering and operations together: cost, deadline, material choice, dimensional requirements, packaging, failure risk and client communication.
